Beautiful but with teething issues
An amazingly beautiful property, fresh, modern, hip.....but just a few teething issues.
* wifi is not what is indicated in their welcome book so ignore this, they need to edit the books.
* the bathroom situation is different, open planned & took a while to get use to it. They need hooks for towels as the tiny towel rack does not accommodate their large towels.
* reception did not advise us of an overstay fee for the car when we asked if we could leave it in carpark while we had lunch after checkout. We could've parked in street and saved ourselves some coin.
Small issues but grating when you pay nearly $500/night.

Staycation
We arrived with a welcoming from the concierge to the being checked into our stunning hotel room with an amazing view of Mooloolaba. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch followed by bar shared plates for dinner. The service was friendly & the food was delicious. The pool temperature was perfect with stunning views. Breakfast was outstanding & also greeted with friendly staff.
Our staycation was outstanding!!!

Wonderful couples getaway
Beautiful motel. Close to everything. Spa was amazing. Ask for Lilly. She was amazing. Must have breakfast at Sullys Rooftop. Cannot fault.

Two problems with this expensive room..
1) Design and layout of the bathroom .. open to the room, 2 cupboards with frosted glass doors for toilet and shower. Once out of the shower you are open to the whole room! No privacy at all. Dumb and stupid design.
2) TV channels .. no sport, no decent channels. They rely on you to stream whatever you want to watch - however, if you are from another country (e.g. NZ), you are geo-blocked. Unless you have a VPN, you can't see anything current.
So - not impressed with this hotel and won't stay here again.

Bougee New Hotel
Up market, bougee new hotel in convenient location with close proximity to Mooloolaba beach, the wharf, and eateries. Rooms, while well appointed are oddly designed, with the toilet and shower essentially being integrated into the bedroom. This would present some awkward, privacy concerns if travelling with a new partner or kids.. The noise from 'Taps' - the pub opposite was unbearably loud, to the point that we had to complain and request to be moved. Unfortunately, this resulted in us being downgraded to a smaller room, and provided with a complementary set of ear plugs.. Sully's roof top bar was impressive, albeit extremely crowded and difficult to secure seating any time after 5.00pm.
