Simply recommended!
Very friendly welcome and super nice staff! Quiet location, but still quick to the hotspots.
The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations! Very well maintained facility. There is also the opportunity for young and old guests to go horse riding and then end the day by the pool.
The property is simply RECOMMENDED!

Not recommended despite nice location
The breakfast buffet was disappointing: the food was partly spoiled (the black bread slices were mouldy, the kiwi was grey instead of green and smelled bad, the cereal container was full of moths) and the dishes came out of the kitchen dirty. Rather offer a smaller selection, but pay attention to freshness and quality.
In the associated riding stable we have booked a riding lesson for our 8-year-old child. The riding instructor was not very friendly, but offered a riding lesson for the same day. When we arrived back at the riding stable at the agreed time, a little motivated girl (perhaps 13 years old) let our child ride a pony at the lodge in a circle. After 25min this girl didn't feel like it and the riding lesson was over. Pure rip-off and therefore not recommended.
Very nice, on the other hand, is the pool complex with enough sunbeds and umbrellas.

Service - good; food - not much to choose from, good; environment - beautiful and clean, prices - acceptable.
We stayed at the hotel for the second time. We liked the place, the possibility to swim in the pool and the surrounding nature. 2 years ago, we stayed here with our children for one night on our way from Croatia. The room was quite large with a double bed and a sofa bed.
This year we had a small room, but the bed was very comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately, what hasn't changed is the dinner menu. The local "restaurant" only offers a plate with local sausages and cheeses with bread or pizza. We don't quite understand why pizza in such an amazing place.
As for the staff, the younger generations are not very communicative, they just come, order and bring. Such quite robotic behavior without a smile. If we are talking about the older service, then it is without a comment. A smile, a few kind words.
What we were really looking forward to were the breakfasts. They are unmatched. We're just a little sad about the details, broken juice dispensers when you don't know how to pour it, a broken light bulb in the room... But nothing we couldn't deal with. That's why we give 3 out of 5, because there is always room for improvement.

WELL...
The place around is very beautiful, unfortunately the positive aspects end there. The structure is old and not soundproofed (if neighbors children is crying you will hear him all night). AC is absent, and so is mosquito net: staying in the room during hot days/nights will be a pain. Towels are not swapped each day for cleaned one.

PEACEFUL
Located in Krumpendorf, on the north end outside the city ( 5 minute drive ) it is a beautiful guesthouse, the rooms are accomodating , the breakfast a bit limited but sufficient ( OJ a bit off taste ) Friendly staff, parking adjacent, WiFi limed to come common areas and (enough electrical outlets).Wonerful back yard with large pool and sundeck, games for children ( very suitable for families ) Recommended for an extended stay if you wish to tour the Worthersee area
