Nice place but with div. Defects!

Much in order and commendable eg new toilet/shower facility,..
Restaurant and pizzeria: Very good food!!! However, also much too expensive in price!!!
Too high prices for div. Items in store!!!!
ZB 2 Kornspitz EUR 4,20 !!!!!!! Incomprehensible!!!!!!
However: just don't buy!
Far too many campers with dogs of which they are not powerful, ie too many dogs!
We're not coming back.

No Top Camping!!

Far too small pitches and lacks connections for the caravan on the pitch. Dirty plumbing. Staff not customer friendly. Total organization camping is disappointing.
Location camping is nice but that is all campsites here.
Definitely not a Top Camping!!

A perfect location right on the water of a beautiful lake. You walk only a few steps from the hotel to the lake. Fantastic balcony facing the lake. Great breakfast. The hotel also has a good tasty restaurant. Friendly staff. Good vibes.

We felt completely comfortable and welcome, full marks!

We stayed at the campsite for 3 days. It is quite small and very family-run. We chose or booked the pitch online. We chose a very quiet location. This was perfect for us. The food in the pizzeria is excellent and breakfast at 'Das Franzl' is recommended. It is also worth mentioning that they are very well equipped for dogs.

Besonders freut uns, dass euch das Essen in der Pizzeria und das Frühstück im Das Franzl so gut geschmeckt haben – wir geben das Lob gerne weiter! Und natürlich sind auch vierbeinige Gäste bei uns immer herzlich willkommen.

Not great for tent camping

We were a family of five camping in a tent. I so want to write a glowing review of camping berau, there is a lot to love. The lakeside location is wonderful, the walk to strobl is beautiful and St Wolfgang a lovely place. The onsite pizzeria is really delicious. And being able to hire SUP from the beach bar also great. However the road right next to the campsite is surprisingly noisy, and so was the site, there was noise until late each night and from v early in the morning. Also, the pitches are tiny and far, far too close together. You feel you are on top of your neighbours. The sense of busy Ness and the noise meant I didn't find this a relaxing coming experience despite all the positives. We wouldn't return. It may be better in a motorhome or caravan.
