This was such a quaint hotel. The age, proximity to restaurants, museums was wonderful. We loved staying here. Plan to go back again next year.

I have traveled more than most people, and I can safely say this is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in.
We checked in about a hour after the alotted check-in time. There was a man in our room when we walked in. He was cleaning the room (I think), though unfortunately could not speak a word of English, so couldn’t communicate what was happening.
The bathroom had black mold, the carpeted floors were disgusting, there was no sheet on my bed, just a bare duvet with no cover. There was gunk from a million years ago on the lampshades, and the bathroom light fixture was broken and missing half the lights.
The capper was a festival in the square across from the hotel which played loud music until 12:30 am. I am all for festivals and people having fun, but there is no chance I would have stayed there knowing this. The paper thin walls and windows didn’t stand a chance against the booming bass lines.
All of this, and it was about $250 for the night. It’s mind blowing to me that this place can operate this way.

No dogs allowed on patio! Wth

Location nice, but note dogs NOT allowed on patio so we couldn’t stay. 1st time ever that we haven’t been allowed on the outside patio with our puppy, stopped at legion instead for a drink cheaper and much friendlier!

1. This hotel does not have an elevator.
2.The room we stayed in only had a window air conditioning unit which is okay except the room was so very warm and the window was wide open letting in the very warm outside air.
3.Breakfast is not served early, we could not take advantage of it because it was too late for us.

The AC unit in our room was leaking and flooded half of the carpet in the room. When we brought it up to the staff they seemed unfazed by it even though that it was brought to their attention by previous guests. There were no available outlets anywhere near the beds. No elevator. It’s old and has no real amenities. The only benefits they had was that there was bar/restaurant downstairs and it was in the town square. It was also almost certainly haunted.
