Visit Freiburg and Black Forest

I stayed for four nights with laia family, we had a good time, clean and comfortable place because close to the highway entrance. Owner very courteous and helpful. Parking is always found

Two day holiday stay

We picked this hotel for a two day stay somewhere reasonably priced South of Freiburg before heading North. We found it excellent for the price. Very nice quiet location away from main road. No parking problems. Run by very pleasant and helpful couple. Good breakfast. Room/bathroom fine. Very close to junction of 31 from Breisach and the A5 motorway.
250/300 metre walk to large, good restaurant by the garage on the main road. We ate there both nights and found it excellent. Best to reserve table. Easy drive to Bad Krozingen or to the nearby Rhine between there and Mullheim.

Friendly staff and very nice place

We traveled by bike from Basel, so we where a bit disappointed by discovering that the hotel is not in Bad Krozingen but in Hausen, which is a very near little but cute place, whatever the kindness of the staff cheered us up in a few minutes! The hotel is very cute and clean, and we would really love to be back as soon as we can!

Niemals wieder!

Das war die schlechteste Übernachtung, die ich seit langer Zeit erlebt habe! Im Hotel links vom Eingang ist eine Dönerbude, in der wohl auch das Frühstück serviert wird, auf das wir verzichtet haben (Samstag von 6-8 Uhr...)
Rechts ist die Rezeption, wir bezahlten bar im Voraus und bekamen keine Quittung... Die mussten wir dann am nächsten Morgen extra verlangen.
Die Zimmer sind hellhörig.
Die Möbel sind billig und unbequem. Am schlimmsten war die ganz schlechte Matratze auf einem sehr einfachen Rost, der noch dazu am Kopfende durchgebrochen war, was wir erst entdeckten, als wir in der Nacht versuchten, es uns bequemer zu machen.. Etwas auf dem Dach, das die ganze Nacht klapperte, trug ebenso dazu bei, dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war.
Also: Beschwerde am nächsten Morgen. Keinerlei Entgegenkommen! Man wisse nicht, dass der Rost kaputt sei (und wann wurde dann die Matratze zuletzt bezogen?), manchmal machten auch Gäste Dinge kaputt und würden es dann nicht sagen--- !!!
Kein Entgegenkommen beim Preis oder anderswie.
Das war die volle Katastrophe.

Klein aber fein

in der winzigen Rezeption werde ich freundlich empfangen, im ersten Stock mit separat abschließbarer Flurtür, getrennt von einer Ferienwohnung, betrete ich das relativ kleine Zimmer. Raumfüllend ist das große Doppelbett mit einer sehr dicken durchgehenden Matratze belegt, zum niedrigen Nachttischchen muss ich mich hinunterbeugen. Das enge Bad mit schmaler Duschkabine erfüllt seinen Zweck. Die fehlende Gardine am Fenster ist durch einen blumigen Vorhang ersetzt, das Fliegengitter schützt vor nächtlichen Mückenattacken. Ich bin angenehm überrascht, einen Wasserkocher, Instantkaffee, Tassen, Gläser und sogar eine kostenlose Flasche Wasser im Zimmer vorzufinden. Das hatte ich in den letzten Hotels gleicher Preiskategorie nicht.
