A gem just one step from a crystal clear sea where the waves will lull you to sleep.

Just perfect! I spent 10 days in the apartment on the second floor. The view is incredible. Sleeping with the sound of the waves is otherworldly. Dimitris and Dionisia are reserved and yet very attentive hosts. The apartment is spacious, clean, has a kitchen with the basics that one would need to make breakfast and cook, there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. The balcony is spacious with a table and two chairs facing the sea. The beach (2 steps away from the apartment) is always sunny, from sunrise to sunset. Sunsets are spectacular too! I cannot but recommend it. It’s a gem. Not gentrified yet. To be enjoyed and respected in its authenticity.

Fantastic repeat stay with friends.

We have visited here numerous times before Covid usually twice a year.We have also stayed here each time.We are at the moment here again for 14 nights and couldn't have wished to stay in a better place .Its been great to see Dimitri and Dianisis again. We have become great friends now and will certainly come back next year.The food is fantastic, scenery to die for hospitality at its best and could not recommend this place highly enough. Thank you both fir what is again for us a wonderful holiday again in Zakinthos. Love Chantal and Richard xx

Psarou Taverna

We have just returned from our holiday and we had lovely meals at this taverna. We ate there 4 times and the food and service was excellent. Dionisia was so lovely she works hard to ensure everything is good. We used the garden and the sunbeds to relax. The small beach offers safe bathing in warm waters.

JUST GREAT!!!

It's just great to eat here. We were here several times during our vacation. Located directly on the sea with a view of Kefalonia. Super friendly and the quality of the food is fantastic. Perfectly prepared with a lot of love. We would love to come back!

Lovely rooms in a fantastic setting, with the sound of the sea to lull you to sleep! + Great taverna

I had asked for a slightly early check-in, which was allowed. On arrival at Psarou, the friendly owner carried my case to the lovely room.
Very clean, comfy bed, spacious, nice balcony, with the sound of the sea sending you to sleep.
I ate in the taverna below - great traditional food, in a fantastic location.
Lovely quiet-ish beach at the front, where you can take a sunbed from the grounds. Lots of locals using it (always a good sign).
I went for long walks whilst staying here, down country lanes and to the nearby non-commercial harbour. Also to nearby Ammoudi and towards the mountains. On the way back one day, the owner was passing in their cars and stopped to offer a lift back!
I really loved staying here, very quiet, lovely setting and special.
Would suit someone/couple wanting a stay by the sea and/or a relaxing time in a special place away from the hustle and bustle...
