Fantastic stay in Sofia Hotel Catania

I loved staying here!!! The view was amazing( Etna on right) and the room was clean and welcoming. I felt like royalty staying here.Thanks to the amazing personnel , who were always nice and respectful, i had an amazing stay. Definitely coming back!!!

Not easy

Hotel Sofia is on the second floor, impossible to enter without a code, no one to help us... no staff at the reception. I suppose we were forgotten in the schedule,
Well located, that's all
Second stay, the return, reception was nothing special, we were in a small room under the roof without a window, a room for employees but the bathroom was newly renovated, noise from pipes and pigeons
What a welcome !!!!

The bathroom, a nightmare

True, those who spend little must demand little. But there is a limit to everything. The area is very central, very convenient for visiting the historic center. End of the positives. The bathroom is equipped with fantastic black water macerator type camper. See the photo. I can't describe the smell that was there every time it activated, even if only for the open water of the sink. I slept with my window wide open because it felt like I was in a sewer tank. Electrical outlet of the aforementioned system absolutely substandard. Cracks on the walls in the room, mattress full of stains of all colors, pillows with lise pillowcases from much use.

Like a joke!!! Part of hell.. even free please do not choose here!!!!

Like a hell.. horrible.. literal meaning of scam.if i can descirible this hotel it is defently hell.. i want to complain but there is no one like a joke..if they offer you free of charge please not choose!!!i think booking.com and tripadvisor and google.com should close thishotrl for sale!!!!
