Simple but sufficient
The best, the location. With Quevedo Park in front and San Marcos next to it!
Very friendly and we were very comfortable!
Only one drawback: the smell of frying throughout the building permanently.
I'm allergic to that smell! They will have to do something!

Good value for money
The location must be highlighted. It is on the other side of the river, right in front of St. Mark's Square. You cross the bridge, and from the square you have everything at hand. On the right you soon reach the historic center along Gran Vía, and on the left the MUSAC is close.

Decent visit for the price
The first room we went into reeked so bad of smoke, like someone was currently in there puffing away. You could even smell it from down the hall. 2nd room was the same way. Finally, the third room was manageable.
There was a thermostat on the wall so we turned the fan on to circulate the air, though the a/c portion didn’t work.
It was so hot in the room that it was hard to sleep.
The room was a nice size and the bathroom was nice. There was even a little balcony that overlooked the bar and park which created a nice ambiance.
Walls were paper thin so we could hear others, but people were quiet pretty early, no not a big issue.

Charming stay at hostal Quevedo
For little money you'll get a nice, spacious and clean room and bathroom (with a very nice shower). There is airco for the hot nights. And wifi and a television if you get bored of León - which I can't imagine.
The staff is really friendly for it was no problem that I stayed a night longer. And you could check out very early in the morning. The hostal is also wheelchair-friendly.
