A great place to stay in Montefrio

This tiny hotel in the historic white village of Montefrío is very pleasant and exceptional. There are only 7 rooms in this hotel. One of the rooms has a large balcony with a pleasant view of the backyard and the town. The rooms are very comfortable. Me and five friends stayed at this hotel on a bike trip across in Andalusia. The hotel is very bike friendly. They have a large garage and we’re able to store our bikes safely while we explored the town.
The town itself is exceptionally beautiful with an iconic view of the castle sitting on top of a large stone hill. There is also a beautiful cathedral with a domed ceiling.
The hotel host was very kind and helpful to us. After leaving the hotel we had a mechanical issue with one of our bikes and he went out of his way to arrange our transfer to a bicycle shop to get it repaired.

Excellent Apartments

We had a fantastic room, new, beautifully decorated, the furniture is of exceptionally high quality, warm, lovely linen and towels, double glazing and blinds as well as curtains. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was a walk-in, and powerful.
We stayed for 3 nights and the room was cleaned each morning. With fresh towels and soap etc..The apartments are right in the middle of the town an excellent position.

Extremely nice apartments.

We stayed here for two nights. We rented a double room which was immaculately clean. Both the room and bathroom were modern with all the necessary facilities including air-con. The host was very welcoming and helpful. I'd recommend these apartments if you are visiting Montefrio, you can't get any more central or closer to the attractions and tapas bars.

One night stopover

Quite a climb up cobbled street to reach No. 4 but very spacious inside - double & single bedroom, lounge with sofa, 2 armchairs and tv, large kitchen with table & chairs equipped with sink, oven, fridge/freezer and door leading to small terrace. Only downside was the bathroom - shower screen made it difficult to get into shower squeezing by the basin! Overall very pleasant but only for one night.

Awesome Suite

Nice place situated center of town. Lovely view of castle and church from balcony. A bit hard to get to on bicycles. Steep hill! Spotless clean. Nice kitchen. Easy walk to grocery. Great staff. We telephoned and thy came right away.
